TEENAGE COURSE

The State of Connecticut requires teenagers (ages 16 & 17)  to obtain a learner's permit before operating a motor vehicle on a public use road.  Upon successful completion of a 25 question written test, (offered only at any CT.DMV office) teenagers will obtain a learner's permit.

• Teens must hold a learner's permit for a minimum of 120 days providing they enroll in a 30 hour classroom/8 hour on-road course
• For a minimum of 180 days providing they enroll in an 8 hour Drug & Alcohol Awarenss Course. (4 2-hour classes)
• Drug & Alcohol Course is offered once monthly at each location.

The following charges apply:

• 8 hour Drug & alcohol course $125
• 30 Hour classroom/8 hour on road course: $450 ($90 deposit required upon registration;$360 balance due prior to "On-Roads")
• All classroom schedules are available at East Haven location during hours of operation and in North Branford during class
