The test is held at the Driving School. Your instructor will keep you informed of the available and upcoming test dates. The day after you pass your driving test you must go to Hamden DMV only to have your picture taken for the license. You must bring original identification with you at that time. The DMV will not accept copies of any identification.
You will also need an approximate payment of $77.00 on that day for your license (for a six year license). The fee varies according to date of birth. Please be advised that there will be no refunds issued after thirty days.
Anyone who fails the test must pay $85.00 upon re-examination and re-submit of all paperwork.
